UTI: 84yM here to be evaluated for 3 week fu. He has again had a second episode of sepsis and UTI with Ecoli and treated with PICC line and IV abx. Treted with ertapenem --------------- Prior Hx: He was admitted at UVA with urosepsis he had a PICC line placed and treated with ertapenem for MDR esbl e coli His weak stream and urinary frequency. He is taking tamsulosin. His UTI sx include stinging sensation. This is his first UTI episode treated with Macrobid 100 mg BID x10 days by PCP His baseline urinary sx include weak stream, urinary frequency every 1-3 hours. He denies urgency or incontinence. He is taking tamsulosin. He quit smoking 30 years ago. --------------- The patient's previous work-up history is listed below: RBUS (04/2026): 5mm LLP. 6 mm RMP. Milk of magnisia RLP CTap wo cont (03/2026): 4 mm nonobstructing calculus in the right kidney. There is a 3 mm nonobstructing calculus in the left kidney. Pvol 64 cc. BCX (03/2026): Negative. UCX (03/2026): MDR UTI Ecoli MRI organs/pelvis (11/2025): 0.8 cm anterior superior bladder diverticulum immediately adjacent to median umbilical ligament just to R of midline.
